FARES:
Portland Streetcar fares are the same as TriMet’s and the Streetcar accepts all valid TriMet passes/tickets. There is no charge to passenger riding within Fareless Square.
As of January 1, 2007, TriMet and Streetcar fares will be valid all day on Streetcar.

All TriMet tickets and passes are honored on Streetcar.
Tickets are sold on Streetcar at fareboxes.
Tickets purchased on Streetcar will be valid for two (2) hours on TriMet bus and MAX.

FARES:
Zone 1 & 2: $1.75 – valid all day on Streetcar
Youth: $1.40 – Valid all day on Streetcar
Honored Citizen: $.85 – Valid all day on Streetcar.

• Fareless Square extends within NW Irving south, I-405 east to Portland State University and RiverPlace
• Fareboxes on the Streetcar accept COIN and $1 and $5 dollar bills, including $1 coins.
• Purchase tickets on Streetcars.
• Tickets required to ride outside of Fareless Square.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF FAREBOX:

• Push button to make a selection.
• Place coins in the coin cup at upper right (dollar coins accepted).
• Place $1 and $5 bills in the bill box. Please note that farebox will not take bills if not enough change is available in the farebox.
• Tickets are valid all day on Streetcar and for two (2) hours on TriMet bus and MAX.
• Ticket may be used for transfer to TriMet bus and MAX lines.
• Streetcar honors all valid TriMet fare instruments.
