The Portland Streetcar Citizens' Advisory Committee
The Citizens' Advisory Committee (CAC) has been a driving force in Portland Streetcar planning since the project was first proposed in 1989. John Carroll, our retiring chair and Chris Smith our new chair and other CAC members have celebrated over fifteen (15) years as members of this active and effective group. The CAC meets either monthly or every other month, to review and offer its advice on all significant project planning, design and operation issues. The CAC has had and continues to have a significant role in shaping the Streetcar Project.
